Stoneware piece handmade by Eunjung Lee in the Pyrenees
In an approach focused on modeling, Eunjung Lee develops pieces that preserve traces of the life that surrounds us. She carries out numerous researches of glazes based on local materials gleaned during walks, such as ashes, clays, granites, talc. She also multiplies the attempts of wilding the earth, by including fragments of schist or ferruginous rocks encountered in the mountains. Each piece expresses a variation of character, a guarantee of a particular attention to the richness of the impurities naturally present in the gleaned materials.
