It is in the 11th arrondissement of Paris that Marie Lautrou has set up her ceramic workshop PMPM (By My Own Means). She makes handmade pottery there. Terracotta crockery, cups, bowls, plates... Simple and everyday objects with mineral shapes that bear the mark of time and the hand that shaped them.
She discovered clay working with the ceramist Dauphine Scalbert in Puisaye, a region where the sandstone tradition is historically very present. She introduced him to naturalistic pottery and taught him a technique between traditional French pottery and Asian ceramics.
