La Poterie du Chaillou
Clara lives and works in Puisaye, in a commune in Treigny. His pieces are made by hand, in small series, and signed La Poterie du Chaillou.
She practices modeling and the pinch technique on local or gleaned stoneware, fired in oxidation. She likes simple, refined shapes that let the colors of these clays express themselves, naked or under ash glazes or in natural shades.
It is to Puisaye and all its potters that she owes her training, which she did during different courses, more or less long.
