Aya Ogawa
Aya Ogawa is a graphic designer but above all a ceramist. She produces pieces in small quantities in her workshop in Tokyo.
Aya often uses an ancient Japanese ceramic technique "shinogi". She appreciates the way the pattern appears when scratching the earth with a specific tool. Aya cuts deep lines in her baked pieces before applying a glaze.
