Patricia Vieljeux
Since 1992, Patricia Vieljeux has been designing stoneware pieces turned or made with coils which are mainly objects for the table (plates, bowls, dishes...). The earth is engraved or incised then covered with projections of ash and cobalt oxide. The pieces made in small quantities are functional, with simple and timeless lines. She draws her inspiration from primitive African and Asian arts and contemporary art.
