L'atelier M.

All of Marie Demongeot's creations are handmade, and produced in small editions. Inspired by nature and the French coast where she grew up, sandstone has become her favorite clay. She likes to keep the natural state of the material visible, mixing different clays and contrasting their rough textures with carefully selected smooth glazes. Before moving to London, Marie studied textile design and ceramics at Sèvres in Paris at the National School of Applied Arts and Crafts. (ENSAAMA). Since 2016, she has been designing and creating a collection of stoneware dishes with simple, clean and minimalist lines, under the name of L'Atelier M.
