Tetsuya Kobayashi
Japanese ceramic artist from Seto, Aichi. After graduating from Kansai University, Testuya Kobayashi worked as a photo retoucher for fashion and advertising. As part of his work, he was drawn to colors and textures, which later led him to take an interest in glazes and ceramics. After a few years, he decided to quit the photography industry and enrolled in the Seto Ceramics School to learn glazes and clay. Testuya Kobayashi works in several styles, including the kohiki technique and ash glaze.
