Ceramic handmade by Claire Cosnefroy in her studio in Arles
Born in the Cotentin from where she keeps a strong taste for nature, Claire Cosnefroy began her artistic career at the Atelier de Sèvres then at the ESAA Duperré in Paris and then navigated between fashion and music: her path was established from as a permanent bridge between several worlds. The encounter a few years ago with the earth brought him the possibility of reconciliation. After training in Burgundy at Saint Amand en Puisaye, she is fully committed to this path and develops a singular language by shaping sculptural pieces in stoneware and colombin porcelain. His practice revolves around the search for an instinctive gesture in a speed of execution, in order to favor a spontaneous shaping of his ideas. Far from a desire for perfection, she favors forms with simple and raw refinement.
