Piece created in Samantha Kerdine's workshop.
Samantha Kerdine lives and works in Paris. Trained in design, she develops ceramic work at the boundary between function and image.
Her pieces take the form of vases, plates, paintings, or more free-form volumes. She is interested in domestic objects and ordinary scenes—the things that make up daily life, the fleeting moments. For her, painting on ceramics is a way of fixing in the material what would otherwise disappear.
