Antonia Maria is a ceramist currently based in Berlin. She creates small series inspired by the natural elements around her. Sensitive to the energy of rocks, she seeks to find a balance between different consistencies where shadow and light, void and solid, create new textures and surfaces. This quest for materials reveals infinite combinations and rich analyses.
Fuilet clay was the first clay she studied during her training in Normandy, and being from Pays-de-Loire, working with a local clay was an obvious choice for her.
In parallel with her studio work, she teaches ceramics through throwing, hand-building, and glazing courses.
