Piece made by hand by Dauphine Scalbert
Dauphine Scalbert learned the trade at the Beaux-Arts in Amiens, from the Thursday class for children, then apprenticed in La Borne, then in Saint Amand en Puisaye before leaving for Korea (the South of the country).
She stayed there for a long time, appreciating this ceramic with its simple shapes and sober decorations.
She likes to make pottery for everyday use on the wheel, uses white slip a lot for a certain peace of mind at the table, placing the slip gives her a satisfaction that satisfies a real sweet tooth.
