Yuka Owada is a Japanese ceramist. She graduated from Tokyo Agricultural University in 2014. Then she entered Kasama College of Ceramic Art in 2016. She was selected for the Takaoka City Craft Competition in 2017 and graduated from Kasama College of Ceramic Art in 2018. She was selected for the Yokkaichi Bank ceramic competition and won the Ceramic Grand Prize at the 2018 ISM general competition.

ENAMEL : Several types of enamel are mixed to obtain unique colors, resulting from personal research
COLOR : Sakura, pink and brown. Pale sakura is a traditional color meaning white with a hint of purple. The name of the glaze was chosen because of its resemblance to the cherry trees that bloom in the mountains.
