Egg cup handmade in Ann-Charlotte Ohlsson's workshop in Denmark, cooking over a wood fire for around 26 hours. The sculptural egg cup features three recesses - one for the egg, one for the spoon and one for the salt....
Ann-Charlotte Ohlsson is a Swedish potter who graduated from the School of Glass and Ceramics in Bornholm, Denmark in 2000. In 2004 she moved back to Bornholm and was part of an association of workshops and galleries of ceramic artists. Her way of working with ceramics is modelling, the coil technique, slab work, pinching, or the use of simple cardboard or plaster moulds. All his works are fired in a wood oven. This association has a large kiln with two chambers, the first for glazes and the second for salt glazes, as well as a small test kiln. The two-chamber oven is baked for 25-30 hours, and the small oven for 10-12 hours.
Ann-Charlotte focuses on form and surface and likes to try new ideas.
