Marilyn Vince

Porcelain bowl/dish D 13.5cm - brown / glazed brown

Stoneware bowl/cup handmade by Marilyn Vince in Issy.

This container is the perfect size for desserts or small appetizers.

Marilyn Vince has been a ceramist for fifteen years.
After a work of unique pieces in Sandstone from Iraq which will have earned her various Prizes in the world of contemporary art ceramics, Marilyn now focuses her creation on a more utilitarian production (small limited series in porcelain).
Turning, modelling, casting and enamelling are the techniques she uses.
Each piece has been previously thought out, designed, prototyped and integrated in an approach where purity of form and future use take precedence over decoration.
Finesse and apparent fragility are at the center of his work.
On mass-tinted porcelain, muted or pastel colors and the virtual absence of enamel are an integral part of its creation.
