Blue stoneware bowl handmade by Joséphine Viot.
After studying product design, in 2015 Joséphine chose a more independent, concrete voice offering immense creative freedom: she immersed herself in the world of ceramics.
She trained at the European Institute of Ceramic Arts in Guebwiller (68) where she began work on tableware thought of as sculpture. She continues today, installed in lilas in a shared workshop, to design sculptural or usable pieces, always unique and talkative. Her relationship to design makes her create sensitive pieces, where the weight, volumes, materials and colors are thought out to correspond to a use and a cohabitation with our domestic universe.
