Plate handmade in stoneware by Maru Meleniou in Greece.
The path of the Greek ceramist is rooted in art and design. Ceramics came to him as an alternative to a more manual expression. The repetitive and transformative nature of working with clay is an exciting exploration. While living and working in Japan, she immersed herself in the raw nature of the elements. She works with chefs to design tableware for restaurants.
