Handmade ceramic by Benoit Audureau in France.
Benoit enjoys working with clay. Raw clay, unaltered and natural. His clays come from local brickyards or small potteries. They are ground, and everything in the clay remains in the clay. After firing, these clays reveal all their imperfections. Production is entirely based on functional pieces and small decorative series. The pieces are covered with a white magnesium glaze and fired in an electric kiln at 1270°C. This white glaze, depending on the clay, will reveal nuances of gray, blue, or green.
