Ceramics handmade by Hèlene Maury in her workshop in the Lot.
Hélène handcrafts pieces in very small quantities, in her home workshop, in the middle of the fields, in the Lot. She shapes her ceramics in a free and spontaneous way. Her sources of inspiration are: simplicity, raw materials, the beauty of imperfection, color and the wild nature that surrounds her.
All her pottery is made of stoneware and she makes her own glazes, taking care to simply use non-toxic natural materials. Mineral powders, wood ash and some natural oxides. Its impact on the environment and the effects of manufacturing on the health of our planet and the artisan are important to Hélène. Her ceramics are designed and shaped by hand, and at the moment mainly using the slow and ancestral techniques of modeling.
