Solo Show by Kim Lê at Brutal Ceramics

Since December 2021, Brutal Ceramics has deployed its activity by opening a place in the heart of Paris in the Voltaire district. Over the months, the store has staged the seasonal selections, the "Colors" capsule collection last April. It is a lively place for encounters with you and the ceramists. For the first time, Brutal is delighted to present and invite ceramist Kim Lê for a solo show from June 14 to 19, 2022.

I met ceramist Kim Lê in September 2020 very shortly after her workshop opened. Both former architects, we quickly enjoyed discussing ceramics and our respective backgrounds. We worked together on the development of pieces present in the seasonal collections of Brutal. With the opening of my new space in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, it is natural that over the course of the exchanges we discussed an exhibition project, in order to present his work in a new setting.

Kim Lê has been working for many months on this thematic exhibition around the vase. All of the pieces dedicated to this exhibition will be glazed with a palette of around ten different colors and all from his personal research.

The “Les soliflores” exhibition will take place from June 14 to 19, at Brutal Ceramics, located at 19 rue Pétion, Paris 11th. A hundred unique pieces are on display and are also for sale on site. Kim and I are delighted that you came to the public opening which takes place on Tuesday, June 14, at 5 p.m. Kim is present on site the rest of the week, from Wednesday June 15 to Sunday June 19 from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
