Sandstone piece handmade by Eunjung Lee in the Pyrenees
In an approach focused on modeling, Eunjung Lee develops pieces that preserve traces of the life around us. She carries out extensive research into glazes based on local materials gleaned during walks, such as ashes, clays, granites, talc. It also multiplies attempts to rewild the land, including fragments of shale or ferruginous rocks found in the mountains. Each piece expresses a variation of character, a guarantee of particular attention to the richness of impurities naturally present in the materials gleaned.
