Mug handmade by Benoit Audureau in France.
Benoit likes to prepare soil. A raw earth that is not denatured. Its clays come from brickyards or small local potteries. These are crushed, everything that is in the clay remains in the clay. These clays after cooking will reveal all their imperfections. The production is entirely based on utility and small decorative series. The pieces are covered with a white magnesian enamel baked in an electric oven at 1270°. A white enamel which, depending on the soil, will reveal shades of grey, blue or green.
