Antonia Maria is a ceramist currently based in Berlin. She creates small series inspired by the natural elements that surround her. Sensitive to the energy of rocks, she seeks to find a balance between different consistencies where shadow and light, emptiness and fullness to create new textures and surfaces. This quest for materials reveals infinite combinations and rich analyses.
The land of Fuilet is the first clay that she studied during her training in Normandy, being originally from Pays-de-Loire, working on land close to home was obvious to her.
In addition to her studio, she teaches ceramics through courses in turning, modeling and glazing.
