Mug made by hand in Stéphanie Petit's workshop in Montreuil.
Sensitive to nature, fauna, flora and the elements, which for Stéphanie Petit are sacred, it is quite natural that she works the earth to give life to unique pieces and small series. Nature inspires her enormously, but also primitive art for its history, its shapes and textures, and the Japandi culture, a mixture of Scandinavian and Japanese Art Deco with clean and minimalist lines. In her practice, Stéphanie works with white, black and red sandstone, most of the time chamotte. She likes the raw side of the earth as well as mineral and natural textures.
