Clarina Ceramics

Kandinsky coffee mug

Clara Gutiérrez, Spanish, with a degree in Art History and Cultural Management, discovered ceramics in 2016 and decided to make it her profession. She trained with Christophe Bonnard and Grégoire Scalabre at Arts et Techniques Céramiques then moved into residence at Fernanda Justina's studio, Temps de Terre, in Paris. CLARINA is the project resulting from this reconversion. Her inspirations are very varied: from Pop Art to the Bauhaus, Clara is as fond of enamelled pieces in dazzling colors as the beauty of a chamotte clay left raw.

MATERIALS : Black glazed stoneware on the inside, left raw on the outside.

ENAMEL: Engobe (earth colored with oxides) anthracite and transparent enamel

COLOUR : Dark brown / Charcoal gray

DIMENSIONS : Ø 5.5cm, height 6.5cm

Dishwasher: Yes
Oven: No

NOTE: Like any handcrafted product, these pieces may have slight variations in shape, color and thickness.

It is advisable to avoid bringing the unglazed parts into contact with strongly coloring foods. If traces of wear appear on the outer part, it is possible to lightly oil the surface, then wash normally in order to erase them.
