Ceramic made by hand by Hèlene Maury in her studio in the Lot.
Hélène makes pieces by hand in very small quantities, in her workshop-house, in the middle of the fields, in the Lot. She shapes her ceramics freely and spontaneously. His sources of inspiration are: simplicity, raw materials, the beauty of imperfection, color and the wild nature that surrounds him.
All her pottery is made of stoneware and she makes her house enamels, taking care to simply use non-toxic natural materials. Mineral powders, wood ashes and some natural oxides. Its impact on the environment and the effects of manufacturing on the health of our planet and the artisan are important to Hélène. His ceramics are designed and shaped by hand, and at the moment mainly according to the slow and ancestral techniques of modeling.
