Piece made by hand in Nathalie Reocreux's workshop.
What Nathalie Reocreux likes most about ceramics is experimentation. Collect materials, grind them, pound them, sift them, mix them and reveal them by the flame.
Nathalie Reocreux uses land that the ceramist harvests around her home in Brittany or while traveling, but also land that comes from small farms. The process is very long: she removes the largest stones and debris by pressing the earth between her fingers. The ceramist leaves the rest to create decoration when cooking.
Nathalie also uses materials she finds to make her enamels (granite, quartz, schist, hematite, wood and plant ashes, etc.)
A production that takes time and leaves it guided by chance.
