In her workshop at the Orfèvrerie located in Saint-Denis, Pia Chevalier today develops objects on the border of the unique piece and the object of art. Pia apprehends ceramics in a very intuitive way, the techniques she likes are modeling and pinching.
The donut cups are designed like a cake, the enamel becoming an icing and the handle a cookie. Modeled by hand, they are all unique.

NOTE: Like any handcrafted product, these pieces may have slight variations in shape, color and thickness. The cracking present on the cup can take on the color of tea, coffee over time. Imperfections such as surface cracks and different roughness of the material are part of the nature of the technique and the uniqueness of the pieces.
