Lucia Mondadori explores the world of abstract and sculptural vases, raw materials, organic and minimalist forms. In her studio she creates pieces on the border between functionality and art object. The collections are born over time. Each piece is unique or made in a very limited series, entirely by hand.
The earth is of local origin and the enamels are the result of personal research. Inspiration comes from everywhere: shores, pebbles, feminine forms, but also primitive and abstract art. The intersection of different cultures fascinates Lucia. Her goal is to bring with her pieces a moment of contemplation and reconnection with the earth.
Lucia lives in Paris and works at the St Sabin workshop in the 11th arrondissement of Paris.
