The discovery of clay for Thaïs came early on when she arrived at a small ceramics high school in Burgundy, she then continued her studies in DMA in Sèvres.
This encounter with this material was a real revelation. This ceramist could spend her life with her hands in the clay and allow herself to be guided by it to shape everyday objects. Inspired by the nature that surrounds her, Thaïs likes to work the raw and chamotte clay, always looking for a different texture. She lets herself be inspired by the different sandstones she uses, playing with the engobes and enamels she makes.
