Plate "Les deux îles " handmade in the Brussels workshop of Sarah Thomas Céramiques.
Each ceramic is shaped by hand one by one in his workshop in Brussels. Sarah uses beige and black sandstone, which she mixes more or less to create spots and marbles. The patterns are all different and make these pieces unique. She worked on taming the random mix of matter, which she brought out with transparent enamel. Sarah Thomas launched her first collection of tableware ceramics in 2018. For this one, she was inspired by her studies in geography and design. His work then developed around natural landscapes, from the mountains to the sea, in a monochrome vision, with rocky patterns and contrasting islets of land. From the study of the earth Sarah passed to the work of this one.
