Plate made by hand in the Parisian workshop of Haeghen
Behind Haeghen is Amandine Le Drappier, a 33-year-old Parisian who, after several years of producing other people's ideas, finally decides to bring her own ideas to life with her hands. She opens her studio in the 18th arrondissement in Paris and with it a new creative horizon is emerging.
Amandine works with stoneware and porcelain, two clays with complementary energies. She shapes all her shapes with her hands to make them truly unique pieces, always in search of finesse and authenticity. She adorns her pieces with enamels with irregular effects, an immensely wide range of possibilities. These enamels with always new and surprising colors are an inexhaustible source of inspiration and creation for her. A work full of patience and delicacy.
Amandine divides her time between the production of utilitarian pieces such as plates, bowls, custom-made dishes and the creation of ceramic wall installations. A job in which the possibilities are endless and each project completely unique.
