Sophie Vaidie

Sophie Vaidie is a young ceramic artist. First attracted by turning, then seduced by modeling and especially the pinched technique, she worked earthenware, porcelain and then stoneware. It is through meetings and internships with international ceramists that she has developed her sensitivity and her gaze around the earth. Inspired by the harmony of curves, the passage of time and the poetry of movement, she creates unique pieces or in small series to enhance everyday life. Large or small pieces, the concern for proportions is omnipresent in his work. The memory of a past moment, the feeling of the present time are at the heart of his artistic approach. She likes to create timeless objects.
